After School Opportunities

Hoosier Prairie Elementary offers several opportunities for enrichment through after-school clubs.
Below is information about the clubs that are typically available. Keep an eye on the red folder for other opportunities that may come up during the year!

  • Dance Club

Hoosier Prairie Dance Club is for all students who love to dance. Students learn dance technique and fun routines, with performances to be announced a couple of times during the school year.

  • “Girls on the Run” Club

“Girls on the Run” inspires individuals of all abilities to discover, build, and grow their self-confidence. Together, they experience a sense of belonging and connection as a team. Led by our Hoosier Prairie Counselor, lessons blend physical activity with life skill development, including managing emotions, fostering friendships, and expressing empathy. At the end of the season, the team completes a Community Impact Project and a 5K together, which provides a tangible sense of accomplishment and sets a confident mindset into motion.

  • Sign Language Club

Hoosier Prairie Sign Language Club is open to all Hoosier Prairie students. Students will learn basic sign language to enable communication between the student and hearing impaired individuals.

  • Student Council

The Hoosier Prairie Student Council is made up of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who value service to others. Members are elected by their peers and they meet after school and at various events (or service projects) throughout the school year.
